The Steel Wire Pole in Long Dien A commune, Cho Moi district was built in the late 19th century, as a communication system of the French colonial government. The relic is a pointed tower-shaped steel column, 30m high with 4 solid pillars, each L-shaped steel leg irregularly connected. In addition, to bear the force, it is reinforced with folded steel bars in the middle of each section about 1m long. At the end of March 1930, comrades Le Van So and Luu Kim Phong were sent by the Special Commissar to Long Xuyen to coordinate with comrade Nguyen Van Cung to select active people in the Vietnam Revolutionary Youth Comrades Association join the Party. The Provincial Provisional Executive Committee was also established and actively built Party Cells. The province chose Cho Moi as the location to develop the organization, because it has a strong revolutionary movement, has a base of the Vietnam Revolutionary Youth Comrades Association, and is a gathering place for a large number of farmers, craftsmen, and early intellectuals.
