An Giang Participates in the Opening of the “Tourism and Culture Space – Integration and Outreach” Exhibition

On the evening of September 6, 2026, the exhibition "Tourism and Culture Space – Integration and Outreach" officially opened at the Gia Lai Provincial Convention Center as part of the National Tourism Year – Gia Lai 2026.

The exhibition featured participation from 16 provinces and cities: Dien Bien, Thai Nguyen, Phu Tho, Hung Yen, Ninh Binh, Thanh Hoa, Quang Ngai, Dak Lak, Tay Ninh, Ca Mau, Dong Thap, An Giang, Da Nang, Hue, Can Tho, and Ho Chi Minh City. It served as an opportunity for these localities to showcase their cultural values, destinations, tourism products, and signature specialties to delegates and visitors.

An Giang Province’s exhibition space highlighted the province's destinations, cultural and historical values, tourism products, and local specialties. Participants in this space included the An Giang Provincial Museum, the Management Board of the Nui Sam Ba Chua Xu (Lady of the Realm) Temple, the Nui Cam (Forbidden Mountain) Tourist Area, the Ha Tien Trade and Tourism Promotion Center, and An Giang Telecommunications.

A highlight of the An Giang space was the presentation of the Nui Sam Ba Chua Xu Festival—a traditional event rich in cultural and spiritual significance that has been inscribed on UNESCO’s Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. Additionally, the space featured a recreation of the traditional wedding ceremony of the Cham ethnic people, presented by the An Giang Provincial Museum, thereby showcasing the rich diversity of ethnic cultures.

On September 6, the delegation and representatives from the participating localities also visited the Twin Towers (Thap Doi) and the Quang Trung Museum, gaining further insight into the unique historical and cultural values ​​of the Gia Lai region. Immediately following the opening ceremony, the An Giang exhibition area attracted the interest of delegates and visitors, helping to promote the province's culture, people, destinations, and tourism products, while also fostering connections and exchanges with other localities and tourism businesses.
