Recently, a delegation led by the Mekong Delta Tourism Association—in collaboration with the Department of Tourism, the Center for Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion, the An Giang Tourism Association, representatives of the An Cu Commune People's Committee, and the management of the Tra Su Tourist Site—conducted a survey and quality assessment to re-certify the site as a "Typical Tourist Destination" of the Mekong Delta region.

Tra Su is renowned for its vast cajeput forests, diverse birdlife (including various storks), and rich flora; it is particularly stunning during the annual flood season. Consequently, tourism here has flourished, attracting hundreds of thousands of domestic and international visitors each year.

In recent times, the Tra Su Cajeput Forest Ecotourism Site has actively participated in tourism promotion campaigns alongside local authorities and tourism agencies at major events nationwide, thereby contributing to the strengthening of An Giang's tourism brand.

The primary objective of the delegation's visit was to re-evaluate service quality, tourism resources, and human resources against the criteria established by the Mekong Delta Tourism Association. The Tra Su Tourist Site successfully met all seven required criteria and exceeded service category standards, thereby confirming its status as a premier destination in the region.

Building on its unique strengths, Tra Su continues to enhance service quality and develop new activities and landscapes to better serve visitors. It also maintains close cooperation with local authorities and tourism agencies regarding management and promotion, aiming to gradually elevate Tra Su into a top-tier tourist attraction for all of Vietnam.
