27/03/2026

On March 27th, the An Giang Provincial Investment, Trade, and Tourism Promotion Center organized a seminar titled "Developing Tours, Routes, and Tourism Products in An Giang Province," with the participation of representatives from various departments, localities, tourism businesses, and experts in the field. This is an important activity aimed at reviewing and evaluating the current situation and proposing solutions for developing distinctive tourism products and enhancing the competitiveness of An Giang tourism in the new phase.

At the seminar, delegates focused on discussing the linkage of intra-provincial and inter-provincial tourism routes, especially effectively exploiting the unique resort, spiritual, ecological, and cultural tourism axis of An Giang. Many opinions suggested the need to clearly define key product clusters such as Hon Son, Nam Du, Phu Quoc, Ha Tien, Nui Cam tourism, Tra Su Melaleuca forest, Chau Doc - Nui Sam cultural and spiritual tourism, combined with experiences in traditional crafts, cuisine, and agricultural tourism.

In addition, the application of digital transformation, the development of smart tourism products, and the improvement of service quality and human resources were also emphasized as key factors. Speaking at the seminar, Ms. Quang Xuan Lua – Director of the An Giang Provincial Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center – affirmed that the development of tourism routes and products should not only focus on exploiting existing resources but also aim for differentiation, depth, and sustainability. An Giang has many outstanding potentials in landscapes, scenic spots, culture and beliefs, and high-end resorts, but these need to be "packaged" into specific products with stories and unique experiences to attract and retain tourists. At the same time, Ms. Lua also emphasized the role of linkage between the State – businesses – and the community in tourism development, considering this a decisive factor in forming effective tourism value chains.

In conclusion, the organizing committee acknowledged many insightful and practical opinions, which will serve as a basis for refining the development orientation of tourism routes and products in the province in the coming time. This will contribute to gradually building the An Giang tourism brand in a professional and modern direction, linked to the preservation and promotion of local cultural values.
