THE SECOND SOUTHERN AN GIANG FOLK CAKE FESTIVAL IS ABOUT TO TAKE PLACE IN LONG XUYEN
In order to celebrate the success of the 1st An Giang Provincial Party Congress (term 2025 - 2030), continue to promote local specialties and tourism images; The Center for Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion will organize the Southern An Giang Folk Cake Festival combined with the 2nd OCOP Tourism, Trade and Product Promotion Fair in 2025.
The festival will take place from October 18 to 26 at Golden City Urban Area, Long Xuyen Ward, An Giang Province. Booths operate from 8:00 to 22:00 every day, no entrance tickets are sold on all days. The festival is expected to have about 300 - 400 booths, divided into 5 main areas, including:
Traditional cake exhibition and demonstration area: Display and demonstration of making traditional cakes of An Giang province and other provinces and cities.
Exhibition, introduction and promotion area for tourism of An Giang and other provinces and cities: Exhibition of tourism images of An Giang province, tourism products of enterprises, exhibition booths of provinces and cities after the merger.
Typical product area and OCOP products of provinces and cities: Introducing and exchanging OCOP products, typical products of regions across the country.
Typical culinary processing demonstration area of ​​regions: Introducing the culinary culture of An Giang and other provinces and cities across the country.
General commercial area: Introducing and exchanging many types of commercial products across the country.
The Opening Ceremony is scheduled to take place at 5:00 p.m. on October 18, 2025, at the event's Main Stage. From 2:00 p.m. on October 19 to 26, there will be a demonstration of making and distributing free traditional cakes by artisans from communes, wards, and special zones in the province. From 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. every night, the Festival will organize music and comedy performances by famous singers and actors.

 

This is the second time the Southern Traditional Cake Festival - An Giang has been held in Long Xuyen. Through the event, culinary artisans inside and outside the province have the opportunity to exchange, process and introduce traditional folk cakes.
