Meeting to review the activities of An Giang Tourism Portal in the first 6 months of the year and orientation for the last 6 months of 2025

On July 17, 2025, the An Giang Provincial Center for Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion held a meeting to evaluate the activities of the An Giang Tourism Information Portal in the first 6 months of the year and the direction for the last 6 months of 2025. The meeting was chaired by Ms. Quang Xuan Lua - Director of the An Giang Provincial Center for Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion with the participation of the Department of Tourism; Department of Culture and Sports; Department of Science and Technology; Department of Finance; VNPT An Giang and specialized departments of the Center.
In the first 6 months of the year, the smart tourism portal https://checkinangiang.vn recorded more than 17 thousand system access sessions, IOS application installations (from January 1 to July 15) 77 downloads Android (from January 1 to July 15) 207 downloads. The Center coordinated with VNPT An Giang to promote An Giang tourism image, introduce the smart tourism portal and CheckinAnGiang smart tourism application via iOS and Android operating systems to tourism businesses, people, tourists inside and outside the province at events: Mekong Connect Forum 2024; An Giang Culinary and Tourism Culture Week welcoming the Spring of At Ty 2025; 
Vietnam International Tourism Fair - VITM Hanoi 2025 and the delegation of Promotion, promotion, cooperation in tourism development between An Giang and Bac Ninh province, the Ministry-level scientific conference with the theme of Sustainable Tourism Development in the Mekong Delta in the new development era to promote the image of An Giang tourism. Regularly update information, outstanding events, update the list of delicious dishes and specialties on the smart tourism system. Thereby, 40 news articles, 20 delicious dishes and specialties have been posted. Supporting tourists via hotline 0911 575 911 brings efficiency in consulting activities, providing An Giang tourism information to tourists and tourism businesses...
In addition, the meeting recorded many comments from professional sectors and continued to closely coordinate with the service provider (VNPT An Giang) to review, update, and adjust information and database of the Smart Tourism System after the province's merger to ensure that the information provided to tourists is correct, accurate, and effective for each locality.
The tourism information portal and smart tourism application on mobile devices will gradually develop the tourism industry of An Giang province according to the model of smart, friendly, modern, reliable tourism and with the goal of serving tourists, people, and businesses better, more meaningfully, promoting tourism development of An Giang province in the coming time.
