AN GIANG TOURISM BUSINESS MEETING

On May 6, 2025, the An Giang Provincial Trade and Investment Promotion Center organized a meeting with An Giang tourism businesses. Attending the meeting were leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, An Giang Tourism Association, Sam Mountain National Tourism Area, Cam Mountain Tourism Area, tourist attractions and travel agencies, accommodation, transportation, restaurants, cooperatives... in An Giang province. Thereby, Mr. Le Trung Hieu - Director of the An Giang Provincial Trade and Investment Promotion Center shared some information on the orientations and policies for tourism development of An Giang province; Information on tourism promotion activities inside and outside the province in the coming time; Listening to opinions of tourism businesses on difficulties, tasks that need support from the state, proposals and recommendations of businesses.
The meeting with An Giang tourism businesses was also an opportunity to listen to and record opinions and recommendations from tourism businesses on current difficulties in business operations, support proposals from the government, as well as initiatives in product development, tourism promotion and service quality improvement. Many practical contributions were made, demonstrating a sense of responsibility and a desire to accompany the government in raising the level of An Giang tourism, building an image of an attractive, friendly and professional destination in the eyes of tourists.
Through the meeting of An Giang tourism enterprises, An Giang Trade and Investment Promotion Center and relevant agencies have received many valid opinions and appropriate solutions to promote tourism development linkages, and at the same time reported proposals and recommendations to superior agencies on difficulties and proposals towards building a more professional, sustainable and effective An Giang tourism industry in the coming time.
