In the residential area of ​​the Cham people, there are many mosques built, the most typical being the Mubarak Mosque in Chau Giang (Phu Hiep commune - Phu Tan district). Here, the cathedral is considered one of the centers of cultural activities, a very unique architectural and artistic work, with its own lines imbued with the religion of the Cham people. About 56 km from Long Xuyen city. From Long Xuyen to Chau Doc town, cross Chau Giang ferry to reach Cham village. The cathedral was built quite early, in 1750 with wood and thatched roofing. In 1922, it was built more solidly with lime walls and tiled roofs... Up to now, Mubarak Mosque has been built and repaired 5 times, the effort and funding were entirely contributed by Cham believers. The most recent construction was designed by Indian architect Mohammet Amin based on the styles of mosques in Arab countries.
