21/09/2025

On September 19 and 20, 2025, the An Giang Provincial Center for Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion organized a famtrip survey program for more than 100 delegates representing businesses and travel companies from Ho Chi Minh City and many provinces and cities in the Mekong Delta. This is an important activity in a series of programs to connect, promote and promote tourism in An Giang in particular and the Mekong Delta region in general, aiming to introduce unique tourism products, open up opportunities for cooperation in building new tours, attracting domestic and international tourists.

On the morning of September 19, the famtrip group departed and visited the Ba Chua Xu Temple in Sam Mountain (Vinh Te Ward) - one of the most famous pilgrimage centers in the country. With its majestic architecture, sacred space and spiritual values, the Temple has long been an indispensable destination in An Giang tours.

Next, the group went to Tra Su Melaleuca Forest Tourist Site to admire the diverse flooded forest ecosystem with hundreds of species of birds, storks, and fish. Tra Su is considered the "green lung" of An Giang, and is also an ideal destination for eco-tourism and experience.

The next highlight of the journey is Cam Mountain, the highest mountain in the That Son region, often referred to as the "roof of the West". With a cool climate and majestic landscape, the survey team visited spiritual works such as the Maitreya Buddha statue, Van Linh Pagoda, Big Buddha Pagoda..., this place brought the group experiences that were both spiritual and close to nature.

On the morning of September 20, 2025, the famtrip group had the opportunity to immerse themselves in the bustling atmosphere of the Bay Nui Bull Racing Festival in Tri Ton - a unique intangible cultural heritage of the Khmer people in the South. The thrilling racing and the bustling cheers on the mud fields left many special emotions for the delegates participating in the survey. This is considered a unique cultural - festival tourism product, which can be combined with organizing tours according to the festival season to attract visitors.

Connecting the route to Ha Tien, the famtrip group continued their survey journey in Ha Tien ward, a land rich in tourism potential, with many similarities and historical and cultural connections with An Giang.

The delegation offered incense at Mac Cuu Tomb, a work associated with the Mac family's contribution to the development of Ha Tien. This is not only an important cultural and historical tourist destination, but also has traditional educational significance, attracting many domestic and foreign visitors.

Next, the group visited Thach Dong - a famous scenic spot with the legend of Thach Sanh - Ly Thong, along with the mysterious limestone mountain landscape. Besides, Da Dung Mountain also made a strong impression with its majesty and cultural vestiges associated with the indigenous community.

In particular, at Milestone 313 - Ha Tien International Border Gate, travel agencies have recognized the potential for developing border tourism products, associated with trade, shopping and cross-border cultural experiences between Vietnam and Cambodia. This is a new direction that needs to be exploited to diversify regional tourism products.

Closing the journey, the group stopped at Mui Nai beach, which is considered the "green pearl" of Ha Tien. With fine sand, clear blue water, and poetic landscape, Mui Nai is not only suitable for resort tourism but also an ideal place to develop team building activities, tourism combined with conferences and seminars.

Through this famtrip, we will introduce typical tourism products of An Giang, and at the same time connect inter-regionally with Ha Tien to form more diverse and attractive tour routes, from spiritual tourism, ecological tourism, festivals to sea tourism and border tourism.

The participating travel agencies were all impressed by the diversity and uniqueness of An Giang - Ha Tien tourism. The famtrip program ended in a friendly, exciting and hopeful atmosphere, promising to contribute to bringing the image of An Giang tourism closer to domestic and international tourists, while creating a driving force to promote the socio-economic development of the entire Mekong Delta region.
