Prepare to organize a culinary space for traditional ethnic cakes

On May 15, the Trade and Investment Promotion Center of An Giang province, Long Xuyen city authorities and the People's Committee of My Binh ward met to discuss plans to organize a traditional cake culinary space. ethnic group of An Giang province.

The event aims to promote the specialties of An Giang region, creating an entertainment space to serve people and tourists inside and outside the province. This is also a playground for culinary businesses in the province to introduce products, exchange, learn from experiences, and listen to customers' feedback.

According to the plan, the traditional ethnic cake culinary space of An Giang province is expected to take place from June 8, 2024 to June 10, 2024 at Nguyen Du lake park, My Binh ward, Long Xuyen city. Every day, the stalls operate from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

The program is expected to attract about 30 booths from restaurants, processing facilities, eateries, artisans... in An Giang province. The event campus is divided into four areas including: four ethnic cuisine stalls (Kinh, Khmer, Cham, Chinese), pancake stall, grilled dishes stall, folk cake stall. In addition, the event includes performances of traditional specialty processing, art performances, folk games...

In order for the preparation work to be thorough, during the meeting, the units discussed many issues such as ensuring security and order, traffic flow, parking arrangement, electricity network, clean water source, and security. Food hygiene, garbage collection, toilets... The organizing committee acknowledges comments from units to complete the plan and implement it to ensure safety, savings and efficiency. .
