The main international tourist markets come from countries such as: South Korea, Taiwan, China, India, Kazakhstan, Russia, Malaysia, Thailand, the United States, Australia, etc., with the main purposes of tourism being sightseeing, relaxation, exploration, experiences, and MICE tourism. The primary mode of travel is by air from countries with direct flights to Phu Quoc.

To achieve these results, in 2025, An Giang's tourism industry focused on and concretized policies, implementing many important solutions and tasks: restructuring the tourist market, innovating promotion and attracting tourists; renewing tourism products towards diversification and increased attractiveness; Many new destinations have been invested in, and the technical infrastructure and tourism facilities have been significantly improved… Through this, An Giang tourism is gradually affirming its brand, becoming a typical destination of the Mekong Delta region.

With the overall goal of “Developing An Giang tourism into an important economic sector with a strong brand and high competitiveness, linked to digital transformation, green growth and international integration,” An Giang tourism aims to achieve 25 million visitors in 2026, an increase of 3.6% compared to 2025, including 2,120,494 international visitors, an increase of 11% compared to 2025. Total revenue is estimated at 70,000 billion VND, an increase of 3% compared to 2025.
